Resident Ratings
Quick Verdict
Cedar Creek delivers on its core promise: a secure, well-maintained environment where kids can play outside and adults can leave for work without the anxiety that comes with open-suburb living. The body corporate is active and responsive. Levies are on the higher side compared to nearby complexes but residents consistently say the spend shows. Pet policy is strict. Weekend parking fills up. If you have a family and a budget above R20,000 per month for rent, Cedar Creek is one of the best options in Fourways.

In Detail
Security at Cedar Creek is taken seriously. The estate operates its own 24-hour armed response team on site rather than relying solely on an external company. Biometric fingerprint access at the main gate means no tailgating. A visitor management system sends residents an SMS when guests arrive. CCTV covers all common areas and the perimeter. In the 12 months to Q4 2025, the body corporate reported zero successful break-ins within the estate.
Monthly Levies
Monthly Levies Range
R2,800 to R4,200 per month
Levy amounts vary by unit size and type. Freestanding homes attract higher levies than townhouses. Levies are reviewed annually at the AGM. Special levies have been raised twice in the past five years, once for perimeter upgrades and once for road resurfacing.
